The toys of our lives

COMING SOON

A documentary feature about the journey of a toy collector: from a childhood of escaping the troubles of home through the world of action figures, to making a career out of bringing youthful joy and memories to others as they rediscover toys from their youth.

Filming The Toys Of Our Lives has been incredibly eye-opening for me about the world of toy collecting.  I've heard so many personal stories and seen so many grown-up people getting giddy talking about toys from their childhood!  This is a whole culture bonded by the knowledge that toys are such a unique form of escapism, reminiscence, investment, a treasure to be hunted for, and so much more.

Sunny times

A short documentary detailing the incredible life of Roger Ebert and the revolutionary impact of his work as a film critic.

Narrated by Gus Costanzo.  Written by Madeleine Rose.  Edited by Justin Graham.  Filmed by Nadia Keen.  Graphics designed by Ricardo Diaz.

This documentary was a blast to film with a wonderful crew of people.  Roger Ebert is a huge inspiration to me, and undoubtedly countless other filmmakers and film critics.  It was great to learn more about his life, family, and work as we created this film.

Creating Creatureville

2021 | Runtime: 13 Minutes

This mini-documentary tells the story of CreatureVille, a tiny village created by kids for the woods' smallest inhabitants.

I can't even begin to express how amazed I am by these kids (my cousins) and the world they've created.  Since filming this documentary, Jack has continued to work on CreatureVille and they now have this crazy developed economy with jobs, varied currencies, running water, and electricity!!  I might have to make a sequel just to show you...
