Upon hearing this for the first time after its release, the concept for this video immediately popped into my head and I texted Eric to ask if I could film a video for it as soon as I finished listening to the song. It's such a sweet, lovely vibe, and Maddie and AJ were already close friends so it was just a perfectly wonderful film shoot. We actually had a picnic once we were done!

It was an absolute joy and honour to make this video for Eric. He is the kindest, most encouraging person and I'm happy to know him. We traveled to a lakehouse that a relative of mine very generously let us borrow for the day; we arrived at night and got to wake up to this perfectly beautiful view of a snowy lake. I can't think of a more fitting behind-the-scenes for this song's video than a couple of friends sitting with each other on the floor while eating ramen noodles and goofing around.

This is without a doubt the most obscure video I've ever made and I love it with all of my heart. It's a minute long and I'm so stupidly proud of this joke. The entire thing is based around this commercial where people keep arguing about whether the new Buick that has Amazon Alexa built-in is a Buick or Alexa. Of course, the majority of people I've mentioned the video to have no idea what I'm talking about, but honestly I love this silly little joke too much to care.
